In 2021, thrift organization De Lokatie celebrated its 25th anniversary. To celebrate this anniversary, I have designed a chair for every year that they have existed. Made from seating furniture that was not sold or was broken. Objects that all emerged organically by working very intuitively. Assembled with simple means such as bolts, screws and/or tie-wraps. By seeing the different parts from which a chair is made, each time a unique model is created with its own personality. A chair with a clear story that cannot be told often enough. Re/design, Re/use, Re/matters.
