The 'locker room' is a room in the Rijksmuseum that museum tour guides and education staff use. There are educational resources, personal items and a place where tour guides and teachers can prepare or relax for a while. The brief was to re-design the space. The 'Surimonos' (Japanese still lifes) are rarely exhibited due to the fragility of the paper. The tranquility that the works radiate has a healing effect. The shape of the locker key labels are inspired by leaves that can be found in Surimono's and are made from recycled leather in collaboration with thrift organization 'De Lokatie'.
